That zone was affected. You may have to wait a couple of days before everything goes back to normal.
I came here, not knowing what to expect.Surprise, I loved it. A very nice place for family or friends to meet.
Came all the way from Dallas to try this place. Food was great! Ceviche trio was the bomb (it was excellent)! Also had the chef's special of the day, which was a red snapper on a bed of vegetables. It was delicious and a big portion to share between two people. My daughter had the lobster bisque and she also said it was delicious. My son had the rib eye and it was cooked to perfection and tasted great! We'll be back for sure and next time with friends! Servers were super friendly, with a great attitude.
Excellent authentic place. The sea food soup was WOW. Out Trio taco was delicious and full of flavors.Top that off with a Tamarind Margarita made our lunch experience one that we look forward to have again. Support local businesses!
This restaurant is excellent for service, food, and warmth of welcoming atmosphere. We ate here 2 nights because it was so good. There is Happy Hour before 6 PM. Recommend Fried Shrimp dinner, Blackened Trout,.
Love this place ! A bit pricey compared to other indian restaurants but food is consistently good!
Love the ceviche and atmosphere! This is a great place if you're looking for a nice casual place to go out. I came here for Happy hour and the drinks were also very nice. If you like Moscow Mules you should try the Mexican mule made of Mescal. Definitely stop by if you're in the area!
I have recently enjoyed food from La Fisheria restaurant and also their catering at an event. I was blown away by how fresh and flavorful everything was. I don’t usually eat seafood but ended up loving the octopus and oysters, however, they had many options to satisfy even the pickiest eaters. The drinks were equally as good! It was great speaking to the owner and staff about the food and you could tell they take price in quality and service. Great place would recommend 10/10!
Absolutely wonderful experience! Roberto, our server, was awesome! The food was delicious. We will definitely be back!
The tamale was the best thing I’ve eaten in a long time...no wonder it’s Zagat rated. The oyster appetizer and the camarones al mojo de ajo were also delicious. The atmosphere is really cool! I love all of the neat tile, colors, and large murals. Our server was very nice. Definitely eating here again!
Delicious food and amazing atmosphere. I have been to La Fisheria plenty of times and have never been disappointed from the food, to the drinks, to their customer service. I promise! you won’t be disappointed! I recently had an event and decided to get it catered by La Fisheria. It was AMAZING! My guests were so impressed with the food and the presentation. I will add photos for you to get a glimpse of what La Fisheria can really do!
I only went to pick up but the place is very beautiful and the service very good
This is my first time review on google and this restaurant manager Antonio was great. He had an exceptional customer service and did his best to make us feel happy and all the servers were attentive and friendly. They also have Taco Tuesday where every tacos are $3 each (I recommend octopus, steak and shrimp).
Very nice place 5 star food I like the place very nice staff and bilingual.
It is always amazing! The service is the best in Houston!
Outstanding place for delicious mexican food. you will not be disappointed in the menu and service. quick and friendly service. the bill was fair i would say.
Great restaurant. All dishes full of flavor and expertly crafted,. Outstanding margaritas. We were hosting an event at the restaurant, and Anas was very professional and flexible with accommodating us. Look forward to enjoying the food from this restaurant for years to come.
The service was ok, the food was absolutely disgusting. Definitely not worth the money. I had the trio tacos that comes with 1 shrimp, 1 lobster and 1 el pastor taco. For the sides refried black beans and Mexican rice. The El Pastor taco was fishy and the meat was dry. El pastor is pork so that was the first red flag, and the lobster was spoiled the smell was repulsive! I hope I don’t get food poisoning. I don’t recommend spending money on over priced food!
Amazing food! Great atmosphere, and friendly staff.
Amazing atmosphere, great food and excellent customer service. And they have the "Indio" beer. So good.
Service was adequate, we did wait a while for our server, we actually almost left. This is my second time here, a couple of years apart. I liked it better the first time around. However the food is good. I didn't have the soup before it was nice, the crab was really soft and mushy, but the rest was delicious.
Food is amazing great food tastes very authentic I recommend the chicken or lamb vindaloo medium spicy
Normally I don't give five stars on my first visit however La Fisheria wowed me! Their fabulous brunch was all about quality not quantity. My friends are regulars there so we were greeted genuinely and warmly by the staff however the atmosphere and the luring aromas of La Fisheria were more welcoming and I just wanted to cut to the chase and start filling up my plate. My first plate was loaded down with paella that had lobster, clams and shrimp, seafood salad, black beans. Included with the brunch, I was allowed to order one thing from the kitchen so I opted for the Platano Relleno, baked banana stuffed with lobster and shrimp with a rich creamy sauce laced with delicate chicharrones. I also had a beef empanada dipped in a creamy black bean sauce. In addition to the fabulous cuisine, there was a live jazz guitarist that enhanced a delightful experience at La Fisheria. I will definitely return real soon for more delectable delights.
5 stars cause your food is awesome, but you REALLY need to bring back the buffet. Maybe the best buffet I've ever had, it's a shame it is no longer offered.
5 STARS staff was very attentive, best ceviche in texas. We are visiting houston for the 1st time and bartender Antonio was very helpful and gave us great tips on what to do in town!
My favorite seafood restaurant in Houston right now. Impeccable service, friendly staff, and beautiful gourmet cuisine. The amazing Linda took care of us like we were family. We will be back again and again. The raw oysters were done with a Hispanic flair, the tuna tostada appetizer is my very favorite thing on the menu, and the vegetarian tamale was award-worthy due to the exquisite balance of flavors and gorgeous presentation.
Cocktails was so authentic and delicious. Staff was friendly and amazing. Management was helpful and diligent. Ambiance here is so beautiful and the fact that they allow local artists to leave their beautiful artwork behind for so many to enjoy, was such a great idea. Food was delicious and fresh. Thanks, Maya.
My husband and I went there two days in a row from Humble because we love this restaurant! We found it by accident, but so happy we did! Antonio and his brother are amazing, great service!!! The food was absolutely delicious! Antonio was so sweet and gave our daughter a gift when we were leaving. We highly recommend la Fisheria, we'll definitely be back and we'll bring family and friends! ❤️
Excellent first dining experience. The Pompano chef recommended is a must. The tamal de elite was out of this world. Will return. Service was wonderful. My only issue is that I asked 3 times to be checked in to my reservation on Open Table. This morning I received a message from Open Table stating that records showed that I didn't make my reservation. I don't understand how this happened.
Great place for authentic Mexican seafood. Might even be better than 4/5 if it were not for the covid restrictions.
FoodIf you ask me where to get the best bite in Houston for modern Mexican cuisine, this is it.This restaurant blew our mind, which is very rare. The cocktail was a great start to a good meal. Next comes the oysters, which were very flavourful with the herb on top. For main course, we had the shrimp tamale and pan seared pampano. The shrimp tamale is an awarding winning dish and it absolutely deserves the fame. The cream based sauce is very rich and intense, but with the tamale, the flavour was mind-blowing. The pan seared pampano was also fantastic with crispy skin and tender meat in the inside. Everything elseThe restaurant is beautiful and we were admiring every single detail of the interior design. It has bright blue and coral as main colour with all the sea related elements, which is very refreshing and inviting. Everyone who lives or travels to Houston should come here.
Great food and atmosphere. The art with is amazing
I will say close to four ⭐️ and let me explain: the place is amazing the atmosphere is super dynamic live music and super entertaining and distracting. This place feels warm and I love that the cocteles we order were amazing delicious. We order a Mojarra Frita and Pulpo Senada the presentation was on point but it was a lack of taste the pulpo still better than Mojarra Frita but I think that fried fish it’s such an easy plate to cook that I don’t understand this. That’s my only minor to this place not sure if the others plates will happen the same but the place it’s worth it the try.
Delicious Fresh food . Great customer service. We had a great experience. We will definitely be back again.
Excellent stop for unique takes on seafood! They sure do know how to grill some octopus here!
Our waitress was extremely helpful and she was so friendly. The place was great and clean. Restroom where updated and clean. Best lobster bisque I have ever had. Food was very delicious and authentic. They need a large saltwater aquarium as the final touché :)
Very Classy Restaurant and The Seafood is exceptional! A good place to empress your date, happy hour is 3:00pm to 7:00pm Monday- Friday, drinks specials all the time. Little Pricey so wait til payday😂The banquet room is available for any occasion.
best seafood in town special service my server so nice Linda thanks for ur great service today
Everything was good and fresh great service. Atmosphere is nice.
You must try their Tamales!! Its unlike the traditional kind. Sooo delicious! Great ambiance, a cool and chill vibe! I even love the hats the staff wears..such a nice touch!
Beautiful restaurant, space is inviting and service is friendly. Kids menu is excellent and portions are large. A little pricey
The food was really good. Especially the ceviche. I would definitely recommend that.
Went with a group of ladies for happy hour on a Thursday night. You can not beat the happy hour prices and the food was great. Margaritas, and wine were $5 and beer $3. We tried several appetizers and each one of them was great. Shout out goes to Linda our waitress, the Chef and bartender. Each of them was so good to us and went above and beyond. Linda mentioned they have music on Friday and Saturday. You will need a reservation. Linda also said they have brunch on Sundays with many items from their main menu on the brunch. I look forward to going back!
Had some great fish and accompaniments here. Good food at a good price. Tasty and with generous portion sizes!
Boy oh boy, I don’t know where to start. First, big kudos to this location which was closed for months due to Hurricane Harvey. Second, the restaurant is like stepping into Mexico. So tropical and bright! Great place to escape. Third, the margaritas are delicious and I’m not a fan of margaritas! The bar is also well stocked with a variety of top shelve liquor. Lastly, the food is amazing!!!!! From happy hour to dinner, everything is so flavorful and authentic! Why not five stars? Sooooo they leave the door open which is extremely welcoming to flies! How do I know this? Because apparently one lucky/unlucky fly made it to our guacamole before it make it to our table and when my friend went for her first bite, she found the dead fly. Would I return? I can’t say there’s ever been a restaurant I’ve been where I found a fly in my dip and returned but I don’t think it’s because the place is unclean. I would suggest they shut the door to prevent another fly situation for sure.
Amazing food and drinks. Loved the Mango hebanero drink.
Nice ambience, nice ceviche
Excellent service!! From the time we walked in the door and sat at the bar, bartender very friendly and attentive, made some recommendations which were awesome, management came out to see how we were doing, even the waitstaff came and asked if we needed anything. The drinks were awesome and the food was delicious. The best thing was the service, a step up from the last time we were here, i will definitely recommend to family and friends.
The best Ceviche in HTX! Must check out if around the area. I tried the verde ceviche 😋
DELICIOUS. Our waiter PJ was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, friendly & accommodating. 'We love our customers' he said - & he treated us that way! Not cheap, but not expensive for the taste & quality. $22 for a top quality, super delicious seafood dish is great. Sauces on the dishes were yummy. All around highly recommended!
“Eclectic” is often used to describe a hodgepodge of ideas that are poorly executed. But here the word takes on it’s true meaning. Unique and well executed decor. Dozens of drinks and menu items that have won various awards (and are excel). Friendly staff. Overall a superb job at putting a modern twist on Mexican cuisine. Highly recommend!
